Enkei Performance Wheels
Enkei Wheels is a household name in the world of motorsports. The experience they gained in motorsports in producing lightweight, stiff wheels that take a lot of abuse. And because of that, each wheel in Enkeis lineup can be used for racing since every wheel passed the stringent JGTC standards.

With racing and technology in mind, it is only natural for Enkei to produce road wheels which are strong, pretty, and, most of all, wallet-friendly. Enkei 's history has been a continuous challenge and adventure to deliver the most innovative and high-quality wheels to top racers and car enthusiasts. Today, Enkei has grown to become the number one manufacturer of aluminium wheels to meet the demands of leading automotive manufacturers and aftermarket wheel users around the world. A step forward. With the courage to take the next step ahead of others, Enkei continues to strive to exceed the expectations of the most demanding drivers.

Enkei Performance wheels are all made using their state of the art casting technology called the Durville Process.

The Durville Process
In the Durville process, molten aluminium alloy is poured into the mould from its inner rim side, with the disc side facing downward. The alloy is rapidly quenched and solidifies, starting at the disc side, creating a finer metallic structure, significantly enhancing tensile strength, yield strength and elongation.

To maintain high stiffness under great force, the Dracos cross sectional area in the direction against the force applied needs to be enlarged. Unfortunately, the larger this area is, the heavier the wheel will get. However, if the layout, cross sectional shape of the spokes and the rim profile are designed properly, the wheel can maintain high stiffness without adding weight.

Enkeis processing techniques ensure the strength of its wheels, and its excellent design capability ensures stiffness and lightness. Enkeis design capability is the most-treasured asset and essential for developing the highest performance wheels.

Spec-E Inspected
Speaking of strength, Enkei, long ago, established their own test standard called Spec-E. It is tougher than the already lofty JWL requirement. Enkeis Spec-E test setting requires a higher drop point in the impact test and 20% more cycles for the rotary bending fatigue and dynamic radial fatigue tests than JWL standards.
