Genuine Denso MAF sensor for Toyota MR2 Roadster ZZW30. Denso is the OEM and should be your first choice for replacing a faulty MAF sensor on your car. A faulty MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor can be attributed to poor running and performance related issues, you may have a check engine light illuminated for a faulty sensor. These sensors are very sensitive and therefore we strongly advise to replace with only high quality replacement parts such as Denso OEM. This is a direct fit for the application and comes with a 1 Year Manufacturers Warranty.
A faulty MAF sensor on a Toyota MR2 MK3 can trigger several diagnostic trouble codes, including P0100, P0101, P0102, P0103, and P0104. These codes indicate issues with the MAF circuit, its range/performance, low input, high input, or intermittent operation, respectively.
P0100: Indicates a general MAF circuit malfunction.
P0101: Signals a range/performance problem with the MAF circuit.
P0102: Points to a low input signal from the MAF sensor.
P0103: Indicates a high input signal from the MAF sensor.
P0104: Flags intermittent MAF circuit issues.
P0171 & P0174: These lean condition codes (bank 1 and 2 respectively) can also be associated with a faulty or contaminated MAF sensor.
The MAF sensor also accommodates the IAT sensor, so any diagnostic codes pointing to this may warrant replacement of the MAF sensor. Codes attributed to an IAT fault include;
P0110:
This is the most common code for an AIT circuit issue, indicating a general malfunction of the sensor or its wiring.
P0111, P0112, P0113, P0114:
These codes provide more specific information about the problem, such as "Intake Air Temperature Circuit Range/Performance Problem," "Intake Air Temperature Circuit Low Input," "Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input," or "Intake Air Temperature Circuit Intermittent".
